Omega Busways Supports Local Cyclists in Charity Challenge

Warrington’s own Omega Busways has been praised for its generous support of Halton Haven Hospice, a local charity that provides care and support to terminally ill patients.

A group of cyclists from Halton Haven recently completed an epic 340-mile bike ride from Canterbury to Holland, all in aid of the hospice. To ensure a smooth start to their challenge, Omega Busways stepped in to provide a coach to transport the cyclists and their equipment all the way from Halton to Canterbury.

This vital sponsorship from Omega Busways meant the cyclists could focus their energy on the long journey ahead, safe in the knowledge that their arrival point was secure.

Omega Busways is no stranger to supporting worthy causes in the Warrington area. The company is a long-standing community partner and is always looking for ways to give back.

“We are delighted to have been able to support Halton Haven Hospice and their incredible team of cyclists,” said Ian Howard of Omega Busways. “The work they do is truly inspiring, and we are proud to play a small part in their fundraising efforts.”

The Halton Haven Hospice cycling challenge has so far raised over £50,000.  The funds will be used to continue providing vital care and support to terminally ill patients in the area.
